Thur. March 28, 11:00 - 11:30 am @ Expo Theater III	OFCnet Panel: Optical Benchmarks Join our own Navneet Kataria for this Panel Session. Featured presentations from Anritsu, NTT, and Cesnet will cover various aspects of optical communication technology. Anritsu's presentation focuses on the impact of non-linear effects on high-speed communication performance, emphasizing the importance of both frequency and time domain validation for modulator/receiver performance. NTT presents two demonstrations, the first showcasing an all-optical inter-data center connection across a live Open ROADM DWDM network, and the second introducing a novel fiber-longitudinal power monitoring algorithm. Cesnet demonstrates centrally controlled CzL ROADM devices that stream telemetry in real time, including a prototype sensor device detecting vibrations near the fiber.
